Buffalo Bill Dam & Visitor Center
Located 6 miles west of Cody, Wyoming
OPEN DAILY- May 1st through September 30th
The Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center was opened in May 1993. A non-profit organization, the Visitor Center relies solely on sales of merchandise, donations, and the sale of  Paver Blocks, which occupy the walkway to the Visitor Center.

The Buffalo Bill Dam Visitor Center provides information and maps about Cody, Yellowstone and  the surrounding areas. The center is staffed with local volunteers,
paid staff, and a Bureau of Land Management volunteer. Call in season 307-527-6076.
The gift store offers educational books and DVD's on regional subjects. A small theater offers the visitor an opportunity to learn about the building of the dam.
